I'm confused having just listened to O1 from 8/25/72,at the end the band clearly goes into what sounds like WRS Prelude and I was not aware of a version of that piece or even a jam on it that early in 72' .The first one listed in Deadbase is 11/19/72.It just made wonder if that O1 is actually from 8/25/72,what's up with the WRS licks.

Bobby plays a little WRS tease as early as 8-6-71. Check out MAMU.

As for the one you mention. LiA also points to it in the discussion in this thread about WRS. Although you can see that deadlists points to one from 7-21-72 as well.

Thanks for the info elbow,it takes a keen ear to detect the tease on that MAMU,I had to listen closely 3 times, kudos. As for the one on 8/25/72 I neglected to mention it cuts about 3 or 4 seconds in so you can't tell how developed it was,for some reason to me it seems more like a gizinta than a few riffs or the start of a jam.

There is also a WRS tease as early as 4/5/69, believe it or not....

Or how about this Estimated Prophet jam from 2/22/74:

Apparently Weir took a long time to put his songs together....
